Cherry graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree from the University of Manitoba in 2010. Since then, she has worked with multiple clients both in the acute care and rehabilitation settings.  Throughout the years, Cherry has developed specialized knowledge and training in use of assistive technology (i.e., alternative computer solutions, Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADLs) and specialty controls to operate a power wheelchair) to help clients achieve their functional goals.

Currently, Cherry enjoys her work in the community providing wheelchair and mobility consultations along with various assessments such as personal care and dependent care assessments.  Additionally, Cherry is a sessional instructor at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences – Occupational Therapy Department, focusing on Assistive Technology content.

Cherry lives in Winnipeg with her husband and two sons. Cherry is an avid sports fan and in her spare time, enjoys playing a variety of sports including soccer, ball hockey, and sponge hockey.
